So, usually I would NEVER spend this much money on jewelry for myself (even if it's a great price) but in my move to my new place post-Covid (ish), I lost my first and only pair of diamond earrings. The one twist-back broke a while back, and between the move, I accidentally threw out the box they were in. I LOVED them because they're one of the only pieces of jewelry my dad has ever gifted me. I initially was so torn up over losing them, and then figured my dad wouldn't notice (who would, right?) except he DID. HE ASKED ME ABOUT THEM A WEEK AFTER I LOST THE PAIR. So I had to find a replacement pair; I didn't want to tell him I'd lost them! Thankfully, these are the PERFECT replicas and they're the real deal. And yes, I could've gotten some cubic zirconia ones, but I don't know, I feel like the spend was a good penance for losing the first original (and 10 years old!) pair.
